The rugs in the Joy. Layer by Layer. collection are woven in widths of 60, 70, 80, and 90 cm. Lengths are available in 20 cm increments from 120 cm to 260 cm. Each product page shows the size of the Ready piece when one is available, as well as all made-to-order size options.
Yes. Ready pieces are listed on the product pages as they become available and can be shipped directly. If the size or piece you want is not available, you can order a new work to be woven to order.
Weaving time depends on the width of the rug. Rugs that are 60 or 70 cm wide take approximately 3 months to weave, while 80 or 90 cm wide rugs take approximately 6 months.
Joy. Layer by Layer. is built around layered colour, rich textures, and denser weaving. Each work develops its composition through layers of colour and upcycled fabrics, creating a distinctive and vibrant visual expression.
Yes. Every Ready piece is a one-of-a-kind artwork. A made-to-order piece follows the same layered and colourful visual language, but it is individually composed rather than copied from an existing rug.
