Aallot is a handwoven textile artwork that gave rise to the Waves collection of wave-patterned rugs interpreted in different shades. Hand-selected weft materials create a calm, subtly dynamic rhythm within the piece. Each weft is part of a carefully crafted whole, where craftsmanship, color, and form come together in a unique way.
Each piece is unique and composed layer by layer. The wefts are like brushstrokes. The available textiles vary, making each rug an individual creation. Tuuli selects the materials with your desired color palette in mind, while maintaining artistic freedom.

Ready-made pieces are shipped within a week of your purchase. Made-to-order rugs are completed in 2-6 months, depending on the design and size. If your order includes both made-to-order and ready-made pieces, the ready-made ones will be dispatched immediately. Made-to-order products do not have the right of exchange or return.

Yes. This Waves No. 06 rug is one variation within the Waves collection, which includes rugs in different shades. All Waves rugs can be ordered in either 50 or 70 cm widths. Length options range from 100 cm to 240 cm.

The weaving process and quality are identical for both options. Ready-made pieces are shipped directly from stock, while made-to-order pieces are handcrafted to your specifications. The production time for a commissioned work is 2–6 months, depending on the design and size.
All Mummatot rugs are made to withstand everyday life. They are well suited to everyday spaces where people walk without shoes.
For regular care, vacuum the rug regularly and remove stains promptly. For washing, use a gentle, brush-free wash with cold water and do not soak. Dry flat, or hang it in the direction of the waves, in a well-ventilated space.
No. All Waves No. 06 rugs follow the same style and color palette. Each artwork is unique, however, due to the artistic freedom inherent in the weaving process and the natural variation of the textiles used.
Made-to-order pieces are completed within 2–6 months of ordering, depending on the complexity and size of the chosen design. We will keep you updated on the progress of the production.
We deliver rugs to all EU countries. The shipping fee is a flat rate of 50 euros per rug. We use Posti's services in Finland and reliable international courier services in other EU countries.
We ship ready-made pieces within approximately 1–2 business days of your order. Transit time depends on the destination country: delivery within Finland typically takes about a week, and 1–2 weeks to other EU countries.
